Caving At Fine Gold Ranch

Join us for a fun morning at nearby Fine Gold Ranch on Fine Gold Creek.

We will explore a fun easy short cave that you can swim in. We will also play in the creek down stream from the cave. After, we will enjoy a picnic lunch before heading home.
We should be home in the early afternoon.

We will meet at Sportsman’s Warehouse parking lot on Saturday the 11 at 9am.
We will carpool to Fine Gold Ranch which is a 45 minute drive.
You’re gonna get wet and dirty! Bring some shorts and a tshirt for the cave. Bring a headlamp, preferably one that’s waterproof. I’ll bring extras if you don’t have one. You’ll also need some shoes you can wear in the water. You’ll be doing a little swimming and climbing on rocks.

I suggest bringing a dry change of clothes you can change into after and some dry shoes. There are some nice bathrooms and showers (not hot) on site.

We will play in the shallow creek after, do a little scrambling on rocks. There’s a nice picnic area nearby, Bring a lunch
