Special Events Help
Occasional help at special events, such as our annual fireworks stand. Our largest and most important fundraiser of the year! We are in need of stand volunteers and shift leaders. Have a great time helping out and getting to know new friends. Food/drinks provided. Transportation available for those in need.

Writers / Journalist
Contribute your writings about politics, community news, movie reviews or choose your own topic… We can also assign local events for you to cover. Write as frequently as you wish, on your schedule.

Event Coordinator
Dream up events and activities our organization can lead or be a part of. Fundraisers, parties, social events, etc.

Tabling
Represent our organization at occasional tabling opportunities.

Editor
Seek out and encourage writers and journalists to contribute to the site. Proof read and approve submissions. Seek out new and interesting articles of interest to the LGBT community.

Information distribution
Seeking assistance with distributing business cards and brochures. Items will promote our organization. This will mainly occur in the tower district, but also other local book stores, etc. Literature to distribute can be picked up and the time frame is flexible.

Sponsorship Coordinator
Seeking assistance with making telephone calls, in person visits and sending emails to potential advertisers.

Calendar Manager
Help with keeping our LGBTQ+ community calendar up to date. Seek out events relevant to the LGBTQ+ community, organize the details and add to community calendar online. We will provide you a list of websites/groups to check for events.

Newsletter Manager
Use our website articles and calendar to create our once a month email newsletter. No experience necessary. Mostly copy/paste. Requires a computer.

LGBTQ+ Friendly directory
Keeping our LGBTQ+ directory up to date. Includes contacting companies from our visitors/readers and making phone calls to build up the directory.

Website Assistance
Seeking a volunteer with WordPress experience to maintain and update our websites.

Grant Writer
Researching funding opportunities and crafting compelling proposals to secure financial support for our organization’s vital programs.
