LGBT Political Power Questioned In Trial

One of the tactics attorneys for the plaintiffs in the Prop 8 trial is to show that LGBT Americans lack political power. As such they are a disadvantaged group and therefore the ban on same sex marriage is unconstitutional because it targets such a group. Attorneys for Prop 8 are attempting to use such things

Plaintiff attorneys are once again questioning Hack Sing William Tam, who was part of the trial defense, then dropped out, then was brought back in when it was revealed he was heavily involved in the Prop 8 campaign, as well as promoting his opinion that gay marriage would lead to laws allowing sex with children
