Court Will Hear Prop 8 Arguments Starting Dec 6th

The 9th U.S. District Court of Appeals will hear arguments in the Prop 8 case starting on December 6th. There will be a three member panel of judges chosen for the case, and their names have not yet been made known. Should the court feel the case has merit, they will hear it out and

Family members of Corey Jackson say they believe the Rochester Hills, Mich., college student had been bullied over his sexual orientation, and it ultimately led him to commit suicide.

Appeals Court Grants Temporary Stay on DADT

The turns keep coming in the federal case to end Don’t Ask Don’t Tell. Today the Ninth Circuit Appeals Court granted a stay on ending DADT. Federal Judge DENIES STAY on DADT Ruling

Federal Judge Virginia Phillips has officially denied the stay requested by the Justice Dept in regards to her ruling that Don’t Ask Don’t Tell is unconstitutional and must end immediately. She called their reasoning "unpersuasive". The case will certainly be appealed. READ MORE HERE
