UCSF Fresno Health Equity Symposium
New local conference from UCSF Fresno! Register for the Health Equity Symposium on October 27th for physicians, allied health care professionals, social workers, residents, fellows, and students!
At Risk in the Central Valley: Voices from Queer Youth will teach about gender affirming care for the transgender youth population and why this population is exceptionally at risk in the current legislative climate. It is designed to help clinicians become more comfortable and knowledgeable around care of our trans community.
New for this year for the live attendees will be an interactive Standardized Patient assessment simulation session! You will have the opportunity to view real-world scenarios with a patient and ask any and all questions in a safe and supportive environment.
PFLAG Fresno folks will actually recognize the actor for the Standardized Patient- it will be our chapter president (and out transman/longtime ICU Nurse) Drew!
