Porterville city council votes to rescind pride month

  The council voted 3-2 (Mayor Gurrola & councilman McCracken voted against. Ward, Shelton & Hamilton voted in favor) to rescind the June 2013 Pride Month proclamation.  Three people were arrested for an act of civil disobedience.
