Queers Outside: Chipmunk Cove Hike

QO takes Chipmunk Cove! 🐿️🤎

Let’s commune in nature on Sunday, July 13th at 9am! 🥾🌲 More details ⬇️

This hike is mostly considered easy but note that part of this route requires us to walk along a paved single lane road for a short time. We’ll get to escape the heat just slightly as weather should be in the low 80s by the afternoon!

Want to swim? 🏊‍♀️
TBD but come prepared!! (swimwear + towel) This specific trail doesn’t have good access to the lake — may require us to take a short off-trail route to safely access the water. Please feel free to comment/DM any questions!

🅿️ Directions/Parking: We recommend using the All Trails app – search “Chipmunk Cove Overlook” which will take you to the dirt lot with plenty of parking space where we’ll meet!

🍑 Bring plenty of water and snacks! Extra water bottles will be provided. Pack in, pack out!
