Bethel means house of God, and for 100+ years, Bethel has been a home where Jesus is the head of the household. Today, we’re a congregation with a mix of people, backgrounds, and ages, worshiping in a style that’s pretty traditional but filled with laughter and singing.

We believe Christians are to follow Jesus Christ daily and radically in every aspect of life. We are dedicated therefore to be an inclusive community without discrimination promoting an atmosphere of love openness and acceptance of all who participate with us in our commitment.

We show love to one another by sharing Christian insights and teachings with our children families our UJCC family and beyond. We appreciate Japanese culture and values. We strive to practice forgiveness respect non-judgment and openness inter-generationally as a community and as a congregation with God’s help.

The Episcopal Church is a safe and welcoming community of faith to all including those in the LGBTQ community.
