Fresno’s Friendly Neighborhood Lesbians. This group started with a group of about 15 people who met through craigslist in my attempt to organize a coffee night to meet other lesbians in Fresno. Since its start in January 2009 the group has grown with over 1300 friends in our facebook network. Check out our calendar and join the fun with your local lesbian community.

The Exodus Fresno Mental Health Crisis Stabilization Unit (CSU) is a recovery focused environment where youth and adults in crisis can be assessed for stabilization services, medication evaluation and management, or hospitalization if necessary. Depending on the needs of the client, our interdisciplinary treatment team is prepared to offer a full spectrum of psychiatric treatment services, including Medication evaluation Social Services and referrals Interdisciplinary treatment team of MD’s, NP’s, RN’s, MSW’s, MFT’s and peer support Linkages to a full spectrum of outpatient and inpatient mental health services The (CSU) is LPS designated which allows our staff to evaluate and involuntarily detain those individuals determined to be a danger to themselves or others or gravely disabled. These clients will receive comprehensive mental health services for up to 24 hours while enrolled at the CSU 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 365 days a year. Lambda Legal a 501(c)(3) nonprofit is a national organization committed to achieving full recognition of the civil rights of lesbians gay men bisexuals transgender people and everyone living with HIV through impact litigation education and public policy work nLambda Legal’s Help desk provides information and resources relating to discrimination based on sexual orientation gender identity and gender expression and HIV status.

GSA Network is working to strengthen the national movement-building capacity at the intersection of LGBTQ+ youth organizing and racial and gender justice in schools and develop the next generation of LGBTQ+ leaders particularly low-income youth and youth of color in California and nationally nGSA Network includes GSA Network of California which connects more than 1100 clubs across the state and the National Association of GSA Networks which unites 40 statewide networks of GSA clubs. We also support student-led campaigns through GSAsUnite! (unite.gsanetwork.org) an online campaign and petition platform for trans and queer youth across the country.
