I work to provide a supportive and client-centered space for individuals to share their experiences. Reaching out to a therapist can be a difficult experience and it is important to me that my clients feel comfortable and safe. I am genuinely passionate about building a healthy nurturing and interactive relationship with clients which will help foster growth and change. I earned my BA from the University of California at Los Angeles (UCLA) and my Masters in Social Work from the University of Southern California (USC) nI have dedicated years of support and work to the LGBTQ community. Primarily supporting transgender and gender diverse clients. I specialize in trauma chronic medical illness anxiety depression life transitions self-esteem career struggles academic barriers interpersonal relations OCD grief/loss and sexual health nI have years of extensive training. I am trained in EMDR Therapy Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) Interpersonal Therapy (IPT) Motivational Interviewing TF-CBT Gottman Method and Mindfulness Based Treatments. However I utilize an eclectic approach to working with clients and believe that everyone does not fit into the same intervention.

Our goal is to ensure that all LGBTQ+ people and particularly those of us who are trans people of color and HIV+ are treated as full and equal citizens within our movement across our country and around the world.

The Living Room a project of WestCare California is dedicated to encouraging and supporting the well-being and empowerment of persons infected affected and at risk for HIV/AIDS. The Living Room’s many programs focus on improving the quality and availability of HIV-specific services for all residents of Fresno County nServices and Scope:nThe Living Room is a social support center that provides a wide range of direct and indirect services for persons infected affected and at risk for HIV/AIDS. These services include case management client advocacy hot meals the Drop-in Center housing rapid testing for HIV and Hepatitis C and social support groups. The Living Room staff provide supportive networks fellowship information education and referrals to those infected affected and at risk for HIV/AIDS. All services are confidential. The Living Room advocates client empowerment and well-being through the development of high self-esteem based on positive attitude positive support and positive living. The Living Room services are designed to assist clients within the Central Valley to allow them to live healthy and productive lives. In addition The Living Room collaborates with all providers of HIV/AIDS services in Fresno County including but not limited to University Medical Center Special Services Department Fresno County Department of Public Health Planned Parenthood Mar Monte. Such collaborative efforts allow for the provision of more effective services to those in need within the community.

The Fresno Gay Lesbian Bisexual Youth Alliance was created to offer Gay Lesbian Bisexual Transgendered and Questioning Youth (under 21) a safe and substance free environment where they can be themselves express their concerns and discuss issues of importance that effect their lives.
