No, I do not have a non-discrimination policy because it is just me and my husband. If I had a larger staff, I would definitely have a non-discrimination policy that is inclusive of protections based on sexual orientation and gender identity.

No, I do not believe public employees should have the ability to refuse to carry out their public duties based on their religious beliefs.

I don’t believe government should be involved in the type of legislation for anyone over 18 years of age. And I do believe anyone under 18 years of age should have their parents’ or guardians’ permission.

I believe parents should decide what is age-appropriate and what materials their children can read. These comprehensive, age-appropriate books/materials should have their own section in the public library clearly marked for those parents who wish to share the materials with their children.

I would support state law that protects all students from harassment and bullying for any reason and would do what I could to make sure that LGBT+ students were included in any legislation.

I agree with Clovis Unified School District. Parents or guardians must give permission for their children to receive any kind of services from the school or even health professionals. As a parent, I would not want anything that infringes upon my parental rights or authority.

I feel it is fine as long as the parents or guardians give permission for those under 18 years of age to receive gender-affirming care.

Yes, I believe HIV testing, treatment, and prevention along with 3 other incurable viral infections: hepatitis B, herpes simplex virus (HSV), and human papillomarvirus (HPV) should get public funding.
Measure C funds can be used to improve our mass transit system to lessen air pollution. I would find ways to give incentives for the planting of trees that are suited to reduce air pollution. I would support any new industrial parks to be located in less populated outlying areas.
I believe a woman has the right to complete bodily autonomy. As a woman, I would not want anyone to infringe upon my right to choose what I do with my body.
To combine and implement systems that other communities have successfully used to reduce/eliminate the unhoused population to fit Fresno’s needs. Housing first w/supportive services and create a coordinated access system that can streamline/assess/collect/display real-time data on clients and show available services/support to ensure people can connect in a timely manner.
I plan to work with the City Council and County Board of Supervisors to agree to a Tax Revenue sharing plan and assess current spending to expose waste/fraud and mismanagement of funds this will provide more money to the city. Then I can propose reducing taxes which increases disposable income.
I am a wife/mother/grandmother. I was born and raised in Fresno until my early twenties. My connection to Fresno has never ceased. My husband and I moved back to be closer to my mother, Rosalie, who lived here for 80 years until her passing. We decided to stay in Fresno.
