Press Conference regarding fires

On October 5th, members of Equality California, and from local gay and lesbian groups/organizations held a joint press conference with Fresno’s Police and Fire department to seek information regarding recent fires at two night clubs.

Wednesday evening, September 7, 2005, less than 24 hours after the California state assembly voted 41-35 to approved marriage equality legislation AB 849, the governor has issued a press statement announcing that he will veto the legislation when it reaches his desk.

The war over domestic partnerships and same-sex marriage in California has entered probably its most bitter stage. Three initiatives to constitutionally ban domestic partnerships and enshrine marriage between heterosexuals were approved for signature gathering in July. Gay? Gene or Choice?

My personal opinion is that it can be both. I think some people are born gay and some people have the choice to be gay.  The past 11 years I have lived my life as a lesbian.
