Film Shorts : Fresno Pride

Celebrate youth voices in filmmaking with a free screening of 12 captivating short documentaries. One five-minute short – “Fresno Pride” (2024) by Angeline Ruiz, a local high school student – highlights the history of the Fresno Rainbow Pride Parade and Festival, which was established in 1991. Alex Soto, instructor and mentor.

It includes an interview with Dr. Peter Robertson, an inaugural grand marshal, a founding member of United Student Pride, and co-founder of Fresno Reel Pride. Presented by CMAC in partnership with the California Endowment, and the California Arts Council. 📹🏳️‍🌈🏳️‍⚧️🎉
