Monthly Queer & Ally Yarn & Thread Circle
PFLAG Fresno and the @queer_collective_fresno are excited to partner in a new crafty monthly social event: a fiber arts crafting circle beginning July 8th!
🧶 What is it? The monthly Queer & Ally Yarn & Thread Circle is an unstructured social time for all fiber arts crafts. Whether you knit, crochet, embroider, weave, or macrame, this space is for you! Bring your projects and supplies and spend time doing fiber crafting among like-minded folks in a warm and welcoming atmosphere (the Queer Collective community center!!)
🗓️ Meets monthly on the second Wednesday of the month from 6-8pm. First meetup will be July 8th!
📍 Where? At the Queer Collective community center, 3034 Tulare St downtown!
🏳️⚧️🏳️🌈 Who? Queer folks and allies! ✊🏽
This group is more for parallel play and community building than it is for instruction, but you may meet folks who can help you learn new skills, or maybe show you how to do something that the YouTube video you watched five times in a row just didn’t help with. So newcomers, you are explicitly invited and welcomed!
Your hosts for the evening are Dr Julie Nicole @julienicolemd of Fresno Inclusive and our very own PFLAG Board Member, Rowan. We can’t wait to see you all!
