LGBT Commuity network started as a not-for-profit organization under the name of Fresno Pride in 2000. It was started because of the few organizations that existed none were publicly accessible. We wanted to be available and make the community’s events and resources available to all online. We believe that without our existence a sense of community and connectedness would still be absent in the area. Being a stable and accessible organization for over twenty years has allowed us to serve countless community members and also share a sense of normalcy that youth look up to as they may be struggling with their sexuality and gender expression.nnOur organization is unique in that it is the only organization that specifically operates throughout multiple cities in California’s most conservative areas.nnOur original mission was only to inform and educate on LGBT+ issues and events related to the Fresno area. Our mission has expanded over the years to include additional cities and also offering services/programs.

Trans-E-Motion was founded in 2005 by a steering committee focused on organizing the annual Transgender Day of Remembrance (TDOR). Over the years the event focused more on providing resources and partnering with the community. Trans-E-Motion was founded to provide this support year-round nIn 2010 Trans-E-Motion became an official 501(c)3 non-profit community benefit organization and began hosting monthly socials inviting transgender people and their allies to attend as their authentic selves nIn 2011 Trans-E-Motion hosted its first monthly support group and also began participating in resource fairs organizing speaker’s panels to educate in classrooms of various disciplines and presenting transgender 101 presentations nTrans-E-Motion continues to grow and focuses on providing support advocacy and education for the transgender community and allies nCurrent activities include the annual Transgender Day of Visibility (TDOV) Transgender Day of Remembrance monthly support groups and offering educational workshops and presentations to the professional academic and allied communities.

We believe Christians are to follow Jesus Christ daily and radically in every aspect of life. We are dedicated therefore to be an inclusive community without discrimination promoting an atmosphere of love openness and acceptance of all who participate with us in our commitment.

Group of great guys and gals of the gay and lesbian community of Fresno coming together to bowl and enjoy each other’s company. We have been a family of bowlers for almost 7 years now our league has truly turned into a mixed league with some awesome people We welcome anyone interested to come join us on Thursday Nights at AMF on Sierra and Blackstone for fun and bowling.

We show love to one another by sharing Christian insights and teachings with our children families our UJCC family and beyond. We appreciate Japanese culture and values. We strive to practice forgiveness respect non-judgment and openness inter-generationally as a community and as a congregation with God’s help.

PFLAG Fresno is a volunteer organization dedicated to supporting educating and advocating for the loved ones friends family members partners and parents of lesbian gay bisexual transgender and gender expansive people here in California’s Central Valley.Every second Sunday of the month from 2-4PM on Zoom and in person at Wesley United Methodist Church on E. Barstow Ave Fresno.
